Are You Wearing The Right CAP At Work For Success?

Author: Robin Kegler

Imagine just for a moment enjoying the work you do more than ever before; so much so that you don't count the days to Friday or to your next long awaited vacation. Does that sound like something that's too good to be true? Well, it isn't if you are wearing the right cap at work.

There are five specific caps a person can wear at work. Each cap identifies where you are most likely to have the greatest success in the workplace. These caps are based on what I call your primary area gift stream, or PAGS. Your PAGS is the stream where you naturally flow and express who you really are. The hundreds of people I have given the PAGS Assessment(c) and follow up materials and services to shape their lives around their primary area gift stream have had more joy at work and in their life. When you identify your particular primary area gift stream, you will discover more fulfillment, feel more empowered and have greater success at work.

Here is a short description of the five primary area gift streams(c) in the workplace:

1. Projectors- are people who can communicate with vivid images, capable of casting light on the potential ideas, projects, etc., so that others get a clearer picture of what is happening now and what may be coming down the road. Projectors have an eye for color, detail and aesthetic qualities and can analyze data to predict future trends.

2. Publishers-are people who are always ready to announce what's going on within the company. Publishers enjoy disseminating information in print, orally and in cyberspace. Publishers are people magnets. People are naturally drawn to them and want to hear what they have to say.

3. Potters - are people who love to cultivate and foster growth in others. Potters are always seeking ways to improve, polish and refine raw talent and ability to maximize potential and performance.

4.Producers - are people who supervise or oversee projects, companies and teams. Producers give shape to ideas, lead by example and break new ground for others to follow and build on.

5. Protectors- are people who cover, shield and defend the less fortunate. Protectors enjoy interacting with people. They are good working 1 to 1 with others and planning events for large and small groups.

Your success and fulfillment at work starts with wearing the right cap.
