The MOST Crucial Element to your Success

Author: D.S. Mueller

The MOST crucial element to success in online marketing is what?

Answer: You must build an opt-in list.

This should be your 1st goal. Its a well known fact that, The money is in the list. A big list could set you up financially for life. Thats why you must begin here.

You absolutely have to have a group of people to sell your product to. Otherwise, you dont have a profitable business. You just have a website in cyberspace.

They say, You cant sell from an empty wagon. Well, juice up your site with all the trick adcopy you want. I dont care how good your product is IF you aint got no customers!

Statistics point to the fact that surfers wont make a purchase on the initial visit to a website. You have to establish some credibility with them in the beginning. So, its imperative that you capture their email address to foster that relationship. Then you can go about designing a campaign which leads them to a purchase.

How is this accomplished?

A business management tool called an Autoresponder is used. This subscription service manages your database of interested customers. Once established, you will create a signup form to place on your website. This will allow people to input their name and email address. Now you can contact them with future offers.

You can also preprogram messages into the Autoresponder, to be delivered at various intervals. Maybe, once a week or every two weeks. This keeps your name in front of your customers. For less than $20 per month, this is an excellent resource.

Why will someone give you their email address?

Because they expect something of value in return. Maybe you are offering a free report of some kind. How about a monthly eNews letter. Or a mini-course on a particular topic.

I sincerely hope this article has been of benefit to you!
