Whenever I look at a business opportunity online I always as myself are THEY in it for the long haul. I know I am, so this is a very important question for me. Why? Because I don't want to put my hard earned time and effort into something that may not be around in 6 months. It's too hard to build a business to a profitable level to waste time on something that may not be there in six months. The goal is financial freedom and not a quick profit that leaves others high and dry in my book. I see so many business opportunities out there that I really don't think can or will stand the test of time. The first clue to this is there marketing method. I am always weary when I see I website that sells something at a high price and offers it to people as a simple business opportunity. It irks me because it's I see it as slightly dishonest. Nothing worthwhile is simple. It always takes time to learn the product or service and how to market it effectively and so when I see something that claims to be simple but cost sa great deal I'm hesitant. Don't get me wrong. When I see people making lots of money quickly I'm interested. If there is a better and easier way to do something I'm all for it. When I see products and services offered for a high price that convert well I want in on the profits too, but I always like to think of the guy or girl that's just getting started. I ask myself can the average Joe or Jane pay this high price and still recoup it without putting themselves into too much financial danger. If I don't think it's possible I stay away. I've been in the position of being the person that buys into something at a high price because it seems simple and so many so called average people are making lots of money with it only to purchase into the opportunity to generate no success. The thing is, when you buy into any business that initial purchase is just the beginning and if the initial purchase is a stretch then putting more money out there to market the product or service can be very tough when there is no money coming in yet. The stress alone that this creates sucks. So when you see a high priced business that is marketed with a lot of "hype", for lack of a better word, ask yourself why. Is this business really something that I can rationally get into at this point. Ask yourself if I put out $997 for this business would I have the reserve funds to market it or would it put me passed the point of no return. Forget all the testimonials and how simple people say it is. Ask yourself does the amount of money that I am putting out justify the price of the product alone. If the answer to this question is no then I would advice you to leave it alone. If the price is mainly to create high margins then it's not a viable long term business and it will fizzle out and I personally don't want to be involved in a business that has a high chance of fizzling out in the short term. Now in saying that, I know that there are some high priced information products out there are worth the price. That's different. In fact I know one product our there on the market that cost $15,000 and then $1,000 a month, but it's a product that produces result and it's not a business opportunity and that's fine. It's the high priced business opportunities that I am weary of. Just as word of advice . . . Whatever business opportunity it is that you choose to get involved with make sure that it will be around for the long haul for your sake. |
