San Francisco Airport Hotels

Author: Kristy Annely

Many San Francisco visitors choose to stay in hotels near the airport, primarily because of the convenience. If you have a car, staying in an airport hotel will save you up to 40% of what you would spend in hotels in other parts of the city.

Hotels in the city could cost you over $200 a night near the financial district. Hotels near Fishermans Wharf will cost you even more. For as low as $90 a night, you can stay at a hotel close to the airport with all the amenities of those available in the central area of the city.

Airport hotels do not offer the same luxury as you might expect from the expensive, classy hotels that are closer to various tourist attractions. If you traveled to San Francisco to see its beautiful spots, then you would likely stay in a hotel closer to these attractions. Because many hotels are competing, rates may be lower, giving you the best value for your money.

But you may want to stay in a hotel near the airport for convenience. Its proximity to the airport allows you to save on time, and you will not miss your flight, even if the city traffic is unpredictable. Transportation will not be a problem, because most hotels near the airport provide shuttle service to and from the airport.

So, if you are in San Francisco, and you need to get to the airport quickly; there is no more fitting way to stay then to choose convenient and affordable hotels near the airport.
