A Herbal Formula To Counter The Cravings Of Smoking

One of the most suffering moments when you quit smoking is when the craving comes, it suddenly just makes you paralyze. This is the effect of the highly addictive nicotine. Other than nicotine, there are also other chemicals which will alter your body and brain chemistry which is also the cause of withdrawal symptoms.

Your brain and body will get used to the intake of chemicals which will cause your body and brain to react chemically in a certain way. Once you quit, this is withdrawn from your body and your brain causing withdrawal symptoms such as irritation, smokers flu, anxiety, and many more.

There are some modern herbalist which have studied the traditional art of healing, and applied their knowledge in the modern world. One of the traditional medicine and treatment is known as Ayurveda. Ayurveda is originated from India, and can treat withdrawal symptoms to a very significant degree. Oat tincture is used to treat patients who have problem with smoking and withdrawal symptoms.

One of the test was carried out. In one group, 26 heavy smokers was given oat tincture and in another group of 26 heavy smokers, placebo was given to them. It was discovered that the group which took oat tincture are smoking less cigarettes, and the effect remained in that group after they have stopped the treatment.

According to a theory, oats have a sedative effect. They are described in traditional herbal medicine being able to create a feeling of well-being and also acting as a tonic to the nervous system. But it is not like cigarettes and nicotine and one would not be addicted to it.

This is a traditional herbal formula suggested to help you counter your cravings.

First prepare the following ingredients:

10ml mullein

5ml golden seal

10ml peppermint

15ml green oats

10ml white horehound

Keep it in a tiny bottle with a capacity or 50ml.

Whenever you feel like smoking, drip 6 to 8 drops of this herbal medicine on your tongue.
