Pyrimid schemes are illegal and are surely no way to make any real money. The only people in these programs that are making any money are at the top level of the pyrimid. There are some other signs you can look for to know if an MLM program is a scam. Watch for plans that seem more interested in drawing in new recruits than in actually selling product. Another thing to look for are companies that make you invest a lot in inventory before you even get started. If you keep an eye out for such signs, then you can avoid illegal MLM programs. There are MLM programs that are n ot only illegal, but immoral as well. Steer clear of any program that sounds "to good to be true". Most MLM programs are good ones and they are legit. You can, though, find yourself in scams in a hurry. To avoid such scams, simply watch for warning signs and trust your instincts.
