Georgia Tech; Aviation Program Tops the Charts

Author: Lance Winslow

If you are considering a career in aviation design, engineering or aeronautical science, I think you might be well advised to check out what Georgia Tech has to offer. Indeed in the last decade they have sure built one heck of a program there and some of the brilliant minds coming out of the place are quite incredible.

One PhD project was an aircraft, which uses no fuel to fly? Believe it or not his design not only works, but it has caught the attention of the United States Military and several other very progressive thinkers, futurists and alternative energy folks. But that is not all as each year they have contests to propel thought of these students and some of the concepts they are coming up with are truly incredible indeed.

It is impressive to see some of the pictures on their Aeronautics Engineering and Aerospace Design Program websites. Some of the white papers I have read there are pretty darn progressive and such a fostering of these young minds means that the United States of America can stay on the leading edge of science, space, aeronautics and innovation for years to come.

Having read and re-read nearly all the research on their website, I think if I were a parent of a University Bound Future Aerospace Engineer that I would definitely want to send them there. So consider this in 2006 and check out Georgia Tech, as you will be glad you did.
